I've been browsing NEWGROUNDS off and on for about 10 years... have no idea why I finally signed up. So much that could've been achieved if I just had been all logged in and what not. I get to go back and re-review old and new favorites.

So why DID I finally sign up?

Oh, yeah. Surgery!

As I recover from my right carpal tunnel release from a problem I inherited, it's giving me time to catch up on a lot of little things that keep slipping my mind during my few free moments. Plus, coming to this site always makes me wish I had the patience and dedication (and especially drive) to advance in my artistry and create cool works like a lot of the talented animators on here!

Oh, yeah. Surgery!

For the last 9 years, I've been struggling with severe carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands, and its generally crippled my illustrative ability and stifled my music creativity. Well, I finally got the surgery on Wednesday, but it may be too little too late. Right now, I have absolutely NO sensation in the ends of my thumb, index, and middle fingers. But I needed to do it, to get back into the mix of art and music. Now, I just need some Flash software to play around with some story stuff and hopefully become a sordid icon or a phenomenom on this outlandishly whimsical social network, provided my stuff is any good and catches on. I want to post art and music, and join this community for real, and not just see it through a frosty window.

I'm 2 years from 30, and I've done nothing in my life I can be proud of. Well, with the snip-snip of my right hand, consider this my first step in a much needed rennaisance.
